Southwell Tips: State Residence
Couldn’t get involved in a steadily run race when forced to race in rear from wide draw. Has run well on Fibresand before.
State Residence is having only his second start for David O’Meara and Dr Marwan Koukash and given the connections he should be winning soon off a mark of 61.
Last time out he was undone but a wide draw and a steady pace. The 3-year-old struggled to get involved in the contest but he was the joint fastest closer and was snatched up late due to interference.
He finished fourth over course and distance for David Simcock in January and in this low grade, he looks the most likely winner.
