Redcar Tips: Rasaman
Might be 12 years old, but still has plenty of ability, especially over a strongly run 7f.
Rasaman might be getting on in years but he still retains ability and has been in good heart of late.
Two starts back he finished fourth at Ayr but was undone by the steady early pace (106.9% finishing speed). The leaders weren’t coming back to him but he still clocked the fastest closing sectional to earn an adjusted speed rating of 80.
A mile was too far for him at Musselburgh last time out but he again ran a good race, for today’s jockey Lewis Edmunds.
Rasaman is at his best over a strongly run 7f on ground rated good. He’s got almost the ideal conditions in the 5.20 Redcar and can register his 15th win.
